Salman of South Asia's premier rock band Junoon turns traditional Sufi poetry into rock.

A Tribute to A.R. Rahman

A retrospective of Rahman's achievements in film music and an onstage interview with him, followed by a performance of of Rahman hits by Stanford students.

A lecture and demonstration of North Indian classical music featuring Sitar Maestro Kartik Seshadri.

Songs of Five Rivers and La Mer, Stanford Symphony Orchestra

8:00 pm:
Under conductor Jindong Cai, the SSO hosts Indian composer Naresh Sohal in the North American premier of Sohal's Songs of Five Rivers with coloratura soprano Nikki Einfeld. The program also includes Debussy's La Mer.
